Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Vison and Imaging Photometer Sales Application Engineer role located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. A Vision and Imaging Photometer Sales Engineer is a specialized role that combines technical expertise in vision systems and photometers with strong sales skills. Here’s a breakdown:
Responsibilities
- Sell vision and imaging photometers to clients in various industries (e.g., manufacturing, quality control, R&D).
- Understand customer needs for light measurement and image analysis within their specific applications.
- Provide technical expertise on photometer functionalities, vision system integration, and data analysis capabilities.
- Conduct product demonstrations and answer complex technical questions about light measurement and image processing.
- Prepare technical proposals and quotes, highlighting how the photometer addresses customer pain points.
- Build strong relationships with clients and maintain ongoing communication.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in vision technology, photometer capabilities, and relevant industry regulations.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., electrical, optical, mechanical), physics, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of optics, light measurement principles, and photometer operation.
- Knowledge of vision systems, image processing, and machine vision concepts (a plus).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven sales experience, ideally in a technical field or scientific instrumentation.
