Standalone Benchtop Spectrophotometer CM-5
Standalone Multi-Function Top Port Spectrophotometer For Color Measurement In Reflectance And Transmittance
The Konica Minolta Spectrophotometer CM-5 is a high-precision device used for color measurement and analysis. It is commonly used in industries such as food and beverages, cosmetics, packaging, plastics, textiles, and paint manufacturing, among others.
Konica Minolta CM-5 spectrophotometer makes color measurement simple. As easy as 1-2-3. Power “ON” the CM-5, wait for the calibration to be completed and start taking measurement. That’s simple. No PC is required, the CM-5 has a wide range of advanced functions including specialized indices for a wide variety of application and thanks to the large color LCD screen that makes results easy to read.
The CM-5 spectrophotometer is a very versatile top port benchtop instrument for measuring the color of solid, powder, paste. granular or liquid sample in either reflectance of transmittance. This instrument thus us a perfect all rounder lab equipment for application such as food, flavors fragrance, chemical and pharmaceuticals application.
The CM-5 spectrophotometer uses a diffuse/8° geometry to measure the color of a sample. It is equipped with three different measurement areas: a standard 8mm measurement area, a small 3mm measurement area, and a large 50mm measurement area. This allows for measurement of a wide range of sample sizes.
CM-5 spectrophotometer is an easy to use color measurement instrument and thanks to the large color LCD screen, keyboard and the extensive firmware offering most major colorimetric systems including industry specific indices to measure transparent liquid such as Gardner, Hazen/APHA, Iodine, European and US Pharmacopeia.
The device uses a spectrophotometric method to measure the spectral reflectance of colored surfaces. It emits light at specific wavelengths onto the surface and measures the intensity of the reflected light at each wavelength. The resulting data is used to generate various color measurements, including CIE Lab* values, color difference values (ΔE), and spectral data.
The instrument uses a spectrophotometric method to measure the color of a sample. It measures the reflectance or transmittance of light at different wavelengths in the visible spectrum, and then calculates the color coordinates using colorimetric equations such as CIE Lab* or LCh*. The instrument also has the ability to measure spectral data, which can be useful in some application.
Overall, the Konica Minolta Spectrophotometer CM-5 is a powerful tool for color measurement and analysis, and it is widely used in a variety of industries to ensure color consistency and quality control.
